Brian is a researcher with the Spatial Analyst Unit in Teagasc. Brian’s research interests include spatial optimization methods and remote sensing applications for agriculture and forest management.
Brian’s previous work includes developing a self-organizing planning framework for forest landscape design and quantifying Ireland’s farm forest resources remotely.
Brian is also interested sustainable agriculture, forest management and policy. Brian left the project in January 2014.
